I didn't finish it.

It's a ridiculous, stupid book with childish and juvenile jokes throughout. The constant references to the dog's stuffed animal, which is also a vulgar word. The ridiculous relationship between Brad and the chihuahua. The stupid screeching on the audiobook, which is how I was reading it. It all makes this book absolutely unnecessarily vulgar. And not funny at the same time.

The setup is fine, the world is fine, the fact that they're in this game is fine. I really had some high hopes that it would be funny based on the pun and the name, but it's not.

It's just uncomfortable to listen to and to read, and as I read it, I can't imagine someone walking in and hearing the dog talk about his stuffed animal or the constant references to sex and body parts.

If that's what you're into, you know, first of all, that's weird, and I wish you'd grow up a little bit, but me, no, I didn't finish it. I got to chapter 16 when he's fighting against slimes slash blobs, and just, I've had enough. And so I'm moving on.

This is not a book I would recommend at all.

Unfinished: stopped at chapter 16. No star rating supplied.
