One day when checking her e-mails to finds an anonymous online study called "Marriage in the 21st Century" in her inbox. After much soul searching she enters the study. Soon she is assigned the pseudonym Wife 22 and a caseworker - Researcher 101. Alice is really into the study - things are happening that she is unable to control. This study will change her life in ways she cannot imagine. Her correspondences with Researcher 101 is getting out of hand. Soon she is forced to make a decision - one that will affect her family, her marriage - her whole life.
The ending came as a complete surprise!
I did not particularly like the book - it appears a little disjointed and was hard to follow. It jumped around too much.
