When she locates Don Julian she almost gets him killed. She must take him to her mother - she will make him well. Andres' Uncle Tio Ramiro promises Don Julian he will take him to the new world if he will call off the war. Don Julian gives up his throne, makes peace with Don Andres and prepares to enter the new world. Before he leaves he asks Andrea to go with him. Her parents give her permission and she leaves her kingdom forever. In the new world (California) she finds true love with her king. Highly recommended. A delightful fictional story that will hold your attention from the first page to the last.
