My youngest was sitting next to his big brother. Out of the blue, my youngest said, “I feel a hug coming on!” and turned and grabbed his brother in a huge hug. If you’ve got one of these too then you’ll want this book!

The child in the book hugs everything and everyone. Along the way he shows that hugging makes anyone’s day. Making people smile, calm down, relax, and feel special. We never find out who the child is and there isn’t a story per se, but there is a point. Affection = good!
Scott Campbell does an amazing job (sample to left). His artwork is whimsical simplicity that works well to convey the main points without distracting. Clear and colorful. Comical but realistic enough. Very well done!
This is an outstanding, fun, silly and pointed book that young children will enjoy emulating and everyone will enjoy participating in.
