Where Hope Begins
By Catherine West
When did things start to go wrong with she and her husband’s marriage? Was it when their eldest daughter had been killed by being hit by a car when she was riding her bike? Maybe it was when they had simply stop talking to each other and Kevin had started working so many hours and was never home.
At the Lake House Savannah meets with her favorite author Brock Chandler, his daughter Maysie and his great-aunt Clarice. They become friends and soon Savannah and Brock are becoming closer than friends. Her world is shaken, but she finds hope when Brock proves to her that she is worthy of love.
Savannah’s children, Zoe and Adam, are having a hard time with their parents being separated and thinking about getting a divorce. Adam attempts
suicide and Zoe isn’t talking to her father. Savannah invites everyone for Christmas including Brock and his daughter and Aunt. Things are going along okay until Kevin shows up uninvited and puts a damper on the celebration.
Will Savannah forgive Kevin’s betrayal and give their marriage a second chance?
The book is well written, the characters believable. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommended it.
