When Katelyn learns she is pregnant, she turns to Marissa and her Clinic. She goes to work part time at the Clinic and soon she and Marissa become friends. Katelyn has never told who the baby’s father is and Marissa never asked.

When Katelyn goes into labor and on her way to the hospital, she phones Marissa to come be with her. When Marissa walks into the room, she stops dead in her tracks, she has come face to face with the father. She runs from the room and out into the night. This couldn’t be happening.

The story is about lies, compassion and betrayal. I enjoyed the book and highly recommend it.
